First of all, I would like to talk about aches, soreness and pains. They are a very big issue for people, nowadays. People experience because they are not moving or stretching as much as they should, staying in wrong postures, doing the same movement for a very long time, such as using smartphones and working out heavily. Apart from the daily behaviours, pains also come from accidents, fatigues, and degenerative process.
Needless to say, pains are not only common for people nowadays, but they are also common for people in the past because they also experience the symptoms. Therefore, dated back a hundred years ago or a thousand years ago, people also suffer from pains. This means that people in the past also need to find ways to treat pains. However, as the technology and medical advancement are absent, our ancestors need to find the natural ways to deal with the symptoms. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is one of the natural ways that people in the past used to treat pains. There are many techniques that can be used to deal with the symptoms, namely,

The technique can be used to relieve pain, stretch muscles and help keeping the balance of blood circulation and energy by stimulating various organs through small needles. Many studies, even the ones conducted by World Health Organization, confirm that acupuncture can relieve pains, such as migraine or headache, back, neck and shoulder pains, wrist pain, lower back pain, sciatic nerve pain, leg pain, knee pain, foot pain, facial pain, toothache, and abdominal pain. Acupuncture can help reducing inflammation and relieve in many points.
It is important to find the root cause of pain because if we treat only the symptoms, the pain could become chronic and lead to bigger problems, such as pains in other areas. Treating chronic pains usually wastes both money and time. As suggested by the Traditional Chinese Medicine, the faster we can manage pain, the better the result is going to be. Apart from treating pains, acupuncture can also help relax and rebalance subconscious mind, emotion and energy. The Traditional Chinese Medicine derived from Taoism, which strongly believes that people are just like nature, we need to live a balanced life. We can live a balanced life if we do not have to suffer from pain. There is a proverb that says “illness never recovered from the body” which means that once a person feels sick, the body is permanently affected and there is no way to go back to normal. However, we can rebalance the body by treating the root cause of the problems. Once the body is balanceก, we can live a healthy life just like the nature.
